The Fredericton Firefighters 2014 Ladder Sit for Muscular Dystrophy was a huge success. With all the great support and donations we were able to raise $26,000 for Muscular Dystrophy. This was a great surprise for Firefighter Adam Corey who volunteered for 3 days/2 nights to make his home 100ft above the ground in the Dept’s Aerial Platform truck. Firefighter Adam Corey braved the sun, rain, wind and chilly nights waving to the generous donators below who made donations into firefighters boots. The Fredericton Firefighters, their families and friends all volunteered at the boot tolls collecting donations for MD, they kept the total amount raised a secret from Adam until they made the cheque presentation at the Muscular Dystrophy Walk at Officers Square. Great job, a big thanks to all those who donated and supported us!
